As units arrive at Vecmar for remanufacture, they are carefully unpacked and separated by model and category. A VSN (VECMAR SERIAL NUMBER) is assigned to each unit in our facility. This crucial step allows for the continuous improvement that makes our remanufacturing process more demanding than the original manufacture’s. All aspects of a unit’s lifecycle is easily tracked and potential warranty issues are eliminated before they occur.
Our Remanufacturing Process
STAGE 1
After a unit is inspected and chosen to be remaunfactured, the unit is completely disassembled, piece by piece. The shell is removed and sent to be renewed by our cosmetic team.
STAGE 2
Next, every measurable component is tested by a team member, and failed or worn parts are replaced.
STAGE 3
After that, we execute our one of a kind ultrasonic cleaning procedure on every component. This ensures that any dirt or buildup of any kind will be removed and not cause any mechanical issues now or in the future.
STAGE 4
When the cleaning is complete, the unit is reassembled and retested to ensure that it operates and looks as good as new.
STAGE 5
Once it is fully tested and approved, the remanufactured unit is shipped out to the customer. These remanufactured units are backed by our unsurpassed, same-as-new warranty.
